Chapter 34 - THE NIGHT EVERYONE LIED
Daniel confronted the Northbridge board with evidence of fraud, forged records, and illegal transfers.
Richard Voss accused him of fabricating everything.
When Daniel exposed Voss's signatures, the executive shoved him against the table and called security.
A fight erupted. Daniel struck Voss, but guards restrained him and dragged him from the room.
Then Elizabeth appeared.
She revealed that Sarah Hale had not died during childbirth. She had been murdered after discovering the hospital conspiracy.
Robert denied involvement until a recording captured his voice discussing Sarah's death with Dr. Cole.
The board erupted in outrage.
Before anyone could react, the lights went out.
A gunshot rang through the room.
When the lights returned, Elizabeth lay wounded, Thomas had vanished, and Voss was being arrested.
Daniel knelt beside Elizabeth.
“Who killed Claire?”
She gripped his sleeve.
“Someone she loved.”
“Who?”
Elizabeth whispered a name, then lost consciousness.
Daniel discovered Emma's necklace in her hand.
Inside the pendant was a memory card containing the original hospital recording.
But the final file had been deleted.
A message appeared on the screen.
THE TRUTH IS BURIED WITH THE THIRD CHILD.
Daniel stared at the words.
Three children.
Two identities.

Who was the third child, and why had the entire Hale family risked murder to erase that child's existence?
