Absolute silence enveloped the magnificent hall even after federal agents escorted Julian away. The aristocratic guests stepped back, their eyes still clearly reflecting utter shock and sheer terror.
Harrison, the billionaire who had been despised and stripped of everything, was now holding his little daughter tightly. His face was stained with tears, but they were not tears of weakness, but of ultimate happiness.
The filthy deception of the traitors had been exposed right in front of the entire elite society. Harrison gently stroked the adorable blonde hair of little Chloe.
"Daddy's here, little princess," Harrison whispered, his deep voice containing boundless love. "From now on, no one in this world can ever hurt you again."
The board members who had intended to vote to oust him now stood frozen in place. Fear crept into their minds. They knew they had just offended a true demon that had just awakened.
