He explained that Thomas had appeared decades earlier, carrying knowledge of medicine, machines, and distant lands.
The royal family trusted him.
But his greatest discovery was a doorway between centuries.
Thomas believed time was not a straight road.
It was a castle filled with locked rooms.
And the silver coin was a key.
When the young king was threatened, Thomas opened the final door and sent him away.
"To my world?" Noah whispered.
Garrick nodded.
"Where an ordinary family could raise him."
