Chapter 11 - The Queen Who VanishedMira helped Noah to his feet.
"Who did you see?"
"My mother. Not the one at home. Someone else."
Garrick's face tightened.
"Queen Seraphine."
He revealed that the queen had disappeared the same night as Prince Elian.
Everyone believed she had been killed during the Black Sun.
But Garrick had never found a body.
The royal records claimed that her final command was to protect the child at any cost.
Noah described the woman's face from his vision.
Garrick nodded.
"There is something else you should know."
He took a folded paper from beneath his armor.
It was a portrait of Queen Seraphine.
Noah recognized her immediately.
Not merely from the vision.
He had seen the same woman in a photograph hidden inside his grandfather's desk.
