Chapter 15 - A New DawnThree weeks later, the morning sun shone brightly through the nursery window.

The security camera mounted on the wall hummed quietly, its tiny red indicator light glowing with steady, reassuring protection.

Inside the crib, six-month-old Noah cooed happily, reaching up to bat at a mobile dangling above him.

Daniel stood by the window, watching his son with a quiet smile. The legal battles were over, the fraudulent documents had been completely annulled, and Vanessa and her brother were locked away in a maximum-security federal penitentiary awaiting trial for multiple counts of conspiracy, fraud, and murder.

A soft knock sounded at the open nursery door.

Maria walked in, carrying a fresh cup of coffee for Daniel and a small plush toy for Noah.

"How are we holding up today, Mr. Reynolds?" Maria asked warmly, a gentle smile gracing her face.

Daniel turned, taking the coffee cup, and met her eyes with deep, heartfelt gratitude. "Better than ever, Maria. Better than ever." He looked back down at his son, knowing that thanks to a watchful eye and an unbreakable spirit, the nightmare was finally over—and peace had finally returned to their home.
