Chapter 8 - The Execution of Vance Holdings

“Shut her up!” Blake roared, his pristine, smug facade completely shattering. He scrambled over his chair, rushing toward the stage, his face purple with rage.
Two large security guards intercepted him at the base of the stairs, tackling the golden boy of the Vance family onto the carpeted aisle. Blake thrashed, screaming obscenities, his tailored gray suit wrinkling and tearing in the struggle.
Abigail shrieked, covering her face in absolute humiliation as the cameras in the auditorium—meant to capture a joyous graduation—flashed rapidly, documenting the spectacular meltdown of Charlotte’s elite family.
Olga stood perfectly still behind the podium, watching them fall.
“Here is the proof,” Olga declared, her voice slicing through the chaos. She held up the thick stack of financial records from the navy binder. “Every wire transfer. Every forged signature. Every phantom vendor receipt. I have already submitted a copy of this binder to the IRS, the SEC, and the FBI Field Office in Charlotte.”
At the mention of the FBI, Jack froze in the middle of the aisle. The fight completely left his body. He looked up at Olga, his eyes wide with a pure, unadulterated terror he had never experienced in his life. The man who had terrorized her, belittled her, and stolen her future was suddenly nothing more than a frightened, pathetic criminal realizing his life was over.
In the VIP section, the three investors were already on their phones, their faces pale with fury, screaming at their legal teams.
The Principal, recovering from his shock, stepped forward. “Miss Vance, I think that is—”
“I’m finished, Principal Davies,” Olga said politely, stepping back from the microphone. She closed the navy binder, the loud snap echoing like a gavel striking a judge's block.
She walked down the side stairs of the stage, bypassing her hyperventilating mother, her pinned-down brother, and her paralyzed father.
As she passed Jack, he reached out a trembling hand, grabbing the sleeve of her graduation gown.
“Olga… please,” Jack begged, his voice a pathetic whimper. The arrogance was completely gone. “I’m your father. You’re destroying our family.”
Olga stopped. She turned to look at him, her face devoid of any pity.
“You destroyed this family the day Grandpa died, Jack,” she said coldly. “I’m just doing the accounting.”
She pulled her sleeve from his weak grasp. As she walked up the center aisle, the crowd parted for her like the Red Sea. Whispers, gasps, and frantic phone calls surrounded her, but all Olga felt was a profound, overwhelming lightness. The weight she had carried for ten years was gone.

By the time Olga reached the lobby doors, the flashing blue and red lights of police cruisers were already reflecting through the glass windows of the auditorium. The IRS and the FBI didn't wait around when $50 million of investor fraud was laid out on a silver platter.
